Self-care has become a hobby. I’ve always taken care of myself but I’m more intentional about it. One day, I decided to write a list of things that I normally do on a sticky note. Being the achiever and maximizer that I am, (those are two of my top five strengths) I decided to take it to the next level and create a fully designed document.
I divided it up into reminders on things that I should be doing daily, bi-weekly, and monthly. I evened it out with a list of treats that I enjoy. After I printed it out, I laminated it, and posted it on my refrigerator. The plan is to use a dry-erase marker to check things off to make sure everything gets done.
To some, it may look like I was just out of something to do. But I like using my creative skills and being organized. I figured this would be a fun way to practice before venturing off to doing more digital projects in the future!
